Following a masters degree in menswear at London’s Royal College of Art ( and a Central St Martins BA preceding that), Neil Barrett was offered his first professional design position for Gucci in Florence. After 5 years of success, he joined Prada and the label’s first menswear collection was launched under his direction. In 1999, Neil launched the Neil Barrett brand. The first free standing store opened in central Tokyo in 2001 and his label joined the Milan fashion calendar in January 2002.
